One person was injured Wednesday in Fond du Lac County after a train collided with a semi-trailer when it failed to yield, leading to a secondary crash and substantial damage to all three vehicles involved.

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office arrested an Appleton woman after a high-speed pursuit on I-41. She is suspected of operating while impaired.

Stop Stick tire deflation devices were then deployed on I-41 at Townline Road near North Fond du Lac. A second device deployed by the Wisconsin State Patrol was needed before the vehicle came to a stop with three flat tires near County Highway “OO”, about a mile and a half further down the line after the first attempt with the device.
