The Unicode Consortium have announced 62 new emojis, including the Transgender Flag and gender invlusive variants – along with the Teapot and Fondue.
“Trans activists, especially those of colour, have been using the Progress flag since 2018. However, it has recently grown in prominence in the U.K.,” they tell me.
