But at Huertas, the opportunity cost of committing to five courses is missing out on 25 or so dishes in the tapas bar — not to mention all the passed plates and daily specials.

These plates fit the pass-around-and-sample style of noshing, rather than composed entrees (though I’ve been known to do that too). And they are not particularly small.

This particular corner of the Downtown at the Gardens dining and shopping plaza went from retro-glam white to sizzling red, when Red Tapas took over the space that once housed the 51 Supper Club.
