Indiana women's basketball led by as many as 18 points in the second quarter, allowing the Hoosiers to cruise to a win over Nebraska on Sunday afternoon.

A sort of Achilles heel for IU women's basketball has been a tendency to fall apart in the fourth quarter. That didn't happen Sunday against Nebraska.

A 13-0 run that included Henna Sandvik’s 3-pointer to end the first quarter and a series of 3-pointers by Moore-McNeil and Garzon permanently put the Cornhuskers to rest. Indiana led 30-14 at the end of that surge and 36-24 at halftime.

Indiana women’s basketball has gotten back to its winning ways with back-to-back victories over Washington and Nebraska. The Hoosiers had entered something of a slump with losses to Illinois and USC at home followed up with one at Oregon in the first game of the team’s trip to the Pacific Northwest.
