Currently, Apple does not sell any product with a 12.9-inch LCD panel. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro uses mini-LED, and the expectation is that the iPad Pro lineup will switch to OLED sometime in early 2024.

Kuo predicts Apple will release a 10.9-inch iPad Air and, for the first time, a 12.9-inch model. While it’ll come in the Pro size, it isn’t likely to sport the Pro’s mini-LED display.

If you’re upgrading from the Mini-LED display in the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, it won’t be quite as massive a difference, but anyone who prefers the 11-inch model will be thrilled with this improvement.
