Microsoft is adding OpenAI’s o1 model to its Copilot AI experience as a feature called Think Deeper. It is available for free to all users with a Microsoft account.

Microsoft is bringing OpenAI’s o1 reasoning model to all Copilot users this week. You won’t need to subscribe to a $20 monthly Copilot Pro or ChatGPT Plus plan to get it either, as Microsoft is making it free for all users of Copilot.

OpenAI's o1 reasoning model usually requires a costly subscription, but it's now free to all Microsoft Copilot users. This move follows a surge in popularity for Chinese AI app Deepseek and its free reasoning model earlier this week.
