Labuguen thanked the Yazaki officials for choosing General Trias as a site of their plant, which is expected to not only strengthen its status as a top industrial hub but also create many jobs.

The plant is run by Yazaki North America, Inc., and makes automotive wiring harnesses. The $10 million plant was opened with assistance from the U.S. Agency for International Development.
