A Wheel of Fortune contestant was branded a 'total idiot' by fans after gambling $4,000, a trip and a wild card for a 50/50 chance at winning for $10,000.

Only a fortunate few have won the $1 million-dollar top prize on TV's Wheel of Fortune.
