David Childs, the lead architect of the One World Trade Center skyscraper that rose from the site where the Twin Towers collapsed in New York City during the 9/11 attacks, has died.
The skyscraper, named Downtown Residences, will be located in the city's burgeoning Business Bay development. It will be anchored by a chunky base, with twin tower-like sections rising out of it.
