Nine people were injured when a gunman opened fire on the splash pad last summer. Authorities said the attack was random.

Installation of a long-awaited splash pad at Beckett Park should be completed late this month or early next month.

As of Thursday afternoon, the equipment was not delivered and City Planner Lucinda Meyers said the date has been pushed back to get that equipment from June 18 to July 2 to July 9.
