The Arizona Muslims Alliance hosted the third annual Gilbert Eid festival on March 31. Eid marks the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting for Muslims.

Muslims typically commemorate Eid al Fitr with a community prayer service in the morning, called Salat al-Eid. The prayer is followed by a feast, conversation with friends and family, the wearing of new clothes, and gift giving, according to the Human Relief Foundation website.

Jaipur: A significant gathering of people who observed the month-long Roza assembled at the Eidgah and various locations in Jaipur. They collectively performed sajda and offered prayers for peace and unity during Eid-Ul-Fitr Monday.
