State officials say a portrait of President Donald Trump hanging at the Colorado state Capitol will be taken down after Trump claimed it was “purposefully distorted.”

The portrait was paid for with a Republican-led fundraising effort and approved by Colorado Republicans before it was put on display in 2019.

Although the painting has been hanging in Colorado since his last term, Trump took to social media last night to address the comically bad portrait, blasting the artist who painted it and accusing her of making him look bad on purpose, while also throwing in a jab at Colorado governor Jared Polis for his immigration policy because why not:
