We have noticed that sometimes, the Power button is not working in Windows 11. It animates when one clicks on it; but doesn’t show or do something.

Holding the Power Button Down Does Not Turn Off the Computer. The proper way to shut down a computer is by pressing the Windows "Start" button and selecting "Shut Down" from the available options.

Decide whether you want to change the power button action for when the PC is using the battery or when it’s plugged in. In the case pictured here, each option in blue is currently set to Sleep .
