The lower leg lies between the knee and ankle and works with the upper leg and foot to help perform key functions. In the leg are a number of bones, muscles, tendons, nerves and blood vessels.
Bend one knee so that your foot goes up toward your glutes. Grab your ankle and gently pull it toward your glutes as comfortably as possible. Hold for 30 seconds.
Slowly bend the knee as far as possible, then hold the knee in that position for 5–10 seconds. Slide the foot back down, straightening the leg. Repeat until the leg feels tired.
