Brian Kelly announced a few weeks ago that he intended on diverting LSU from the typical spring football game, citing that in years past the team basically had to lose a practice due to going over procedurals and logistics for the spring game. LSU will have an autograph session for fans following the conclusion of the scrimmage Saturday.

Jack Pyburn likes to celebrate after he makes a stop, so when he sacked quarterback Garrett Nussmeier on the last play of the day for LSU’s starters, he danced. The transfer defensive end raised his arms above his head, encouraged by linebacker West Weeks, and a frustrated Nussmeier tossed the ball back toward the middle of the field.
