CinemaCon believed a man can fly on Tuesday as DC Studios head James Gunn showed off an extended look at Superman. The film is a make-or-break moment for DC, which has an ambitious slate, much of which depends on Superman working at the box office this summer.

David Corenswet, best known for his work in Ryan Murphy’s “Hollywood,” stars as Clark Kent/ Superman, while Rachel Brosnahan (“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”) plays Lois Lane. The rest of the cast includes Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, as well as Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion and Isabela Merced.

Carrie Coon is beloved for her work on HBO series such as “The Leftovers,” “The Gilded Age” and “The White Lotus” Season 3, but her filmography also includes a quick detour to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
