Microsoft is testing a new search box, formerly in the Taskbar, that's now located right in the middle of the Windows 11 desktop interface.

Microsoft's latest Windows 11 Insider build adds something that we haven't seen since the days of Windows 7: a free-floating search bar that spans the top of your desktop.
