President Donald Trump's freeze on foreign aid includes support for the Kenya-led international mission to Haiti, which seeks to help local troops fight the gangs that have taken over most of the capital and continue to wreak havoc across the country.

United Nations – The U.S. has notified the United Nations that it is freezing funding to a U.N.-backed mission in Haiti tasked with fighting gangs trying to seize full control of the country’s capital, the U.N. said Tuesday.

Kenya has suffered a major blow following the United States’ decision to cut funding, amounting to more than $13 million (Ksh1.7 billion), for the Multinational Security Support (MSS) mission in Haiti.
