Not to take away from the technical side of this, but… why? When it would make sense to use an Arduino and a HDMI shield instead of using any of the single-board computers with HDMI outputs?
Gameduino 3X Dazzler Arduino shield with a GPU, FPGA, HDMI, and Python support. 2:14 pm June 15, 2020 By Julian Horsey.
The shield includes the Dazzler Core, which is an SMD module that includes GPU, FPGA, and HDMI Hardware interfaces: Standard SPI up to 36 MHz for Arduino communication ...
Oh, and funnily enough, if your really do want to do HDMI on an Arduino, there’s a shield for that, too. Natch! Posted in FPGA Tagged dvi, dvi-d, fpga, hdmi. Post navigation.
The Shield itself is getting a quiet upgrade in the process -- the software both takes up a smaller footprint and can now talk to the world in the background while the Arduino keeps on keepin' on.
The 1Sheeld, a single shield that lets you replace all of those other shields with your smartphone. Today, that project went up on Kickstarter and almost immediately destroyed its fundraising goal.
The Giga Display Shield (plug-in board) might fit the bill. It adds a 3.97inch 480 x 800 RGB touchscreen, digital microphone (MP34DT06JTR by ST), six-axis IMU (Bosch BMI270 inertial measurement unit), ...
The associated demonstration code continually streams increasing integer values through the Arduino UART to the transmitter, and receives them back via the fibre link. “To show this running, we put a ...
