A River Woods resident found her back deck covered in dime-sized round balls of ice after a storm blew through the Treasure Coast early Tuesday.

East central Florida: Expect partly sunny and warm conditions during most of the day. Conditions are favorable for storms to develop between 3 and 9 p.m. Storms could bring gusty winds near 50 mph, small hail and heavy rain, according to the National Weather Service Melbourne.

Storms Monday moved through the Florida Panhandle. The rest of the week is expected to remain dry, with the next chance for showers and storms forecast for the weekend, according to the National Weather Service Mobile.

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. -- Streets are flooded as heavy rain pours down in parts of Northwest Florida on Saturday. A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for Escambia County, according to the National Weather Service.
