Dollar General announced earlier this month that the company will be closing nearly 100 stores across the country by 2026.

Dollar General will be closing 96 stores and 45 pOpshelf stores in the first quarter of fiscal year 2025. Despite the closures, Dollar General’s net sales increased by 5% in fiscal year 2024.
