They provided surveys to over a thousand college students from OSU and one other university to describe their screen time, levels of loneliness and insomnia symptoms.

So far during online college classes, Stanford students have averaged 78% of their daytime (12.4 hour/day) staring at a laptop, tablet or phone, a jump from an already high 50% during regular classes.
