CHARLOTTE, NC – Two people were seriously hurt after getting hit by a car outside a nightclub in Charlotte Monday morning. CMPD says the collision happened outside of Bliss Nightlife before 5 a.m.

The new club is taking over the space of a former sports bar in uptown Charlotte, near Bank of America Stadium.

The bar, bistro and hookah lounge is part of the franchise The Teranga Group started in Atlanta, and it will bring its unique take on West African cuisine and nightlife to Charlotte’s center city.
