Josh Kraft, son of the billionaire New England Patriots owner and head of the family’s philanthropic arm, has scheduled a formal announcement for Tuesday in Grove Hall to launch his candidacy for mayor of Boston.

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu ’07 announced on Monday that she will head to Washington, D.C. to testify on Boston’s status as a sanctuary city before the Congressional Committee on Oversight and Government.

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu has been invited to testify before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform in their investigation of "sanctuary jurisdictions across the United States and their impact on public safety.

Mayor Michelle Wu will no doubt come up with some lame excuse for not testifying before Congress next month – maternity leave, racism, sexism, panic attack or some other equally bogus reason.

Wu had previously said she intends to testify but asked for more time to prepare the requested documents and recover from giving birth.
