At the end of USS Callister, Nanette and the crew managed to escape Daly’s (Jesse Plemons) private server, leaving him alone and drifting through a pitch-black virtual cosmos while his real-life body lay limp and destined for death in his apartment.

Black Mirror has already been on for six seasons and is about to embark on a new one. The main difference between the two series is that Severance keeps the same characters from season to season, while Black Mirror is a smorgasbord of different characters doing different things.
