Apple is launching its first earphones that can measure pulse. For months, there has been speculation that the iPhone maker could soon upgrade its AirPods with this feature - but now it is the new Powerbeats Pro 2 that are the first to get the feature.

The Powerbeats Pro 2 take it to the next level by having Apple’s newer H2 chip — the same one as Apple’s newest AirPods Pro — and thus have even more abilities. The most notable additions are modes for active noise-cancellation and transparency, which their predecessor lacked.
