U.S. ski great Mikaela Shiffrin won a record-equalling 15th career world championships medal when she and downhill champion Breezy Johnson struck gold in the new women's team combined event on Tuesday.

Mikaela Shiffrin and Breezy Johnson have won gold in the new team combined event at the Alpine skiing world championships.

With only four skiers and no room for error, it would take a near-flawless performance from the Concord High boys’ ski team to top the team standings.
