NWSL regular season will begin in March and CBS is the official home of the NWSL Championship. Fourteen clubs will battle for the regular season title -- the NWSL Shield, and compete for their place in the NWSL playoffs with the hopes of earning a place in the biggest game of the year on Nov.

The season will be stretched across 26 weeks, to help mitigate the need for midweek matches and accommodate the return of the beloved Decision Day. The chaotic NWSL regular season finale will conclude with all teams playing on November 2. Before diving into the 2025 schedule game-by-game, here are some highlights.

The NWSL, which has long struggled with scheduling because most of its teams are secondary tenants in their stadiums, was once ridiculed by fans and players for delayed releases. Now, in 2025, it has turned around its schedule in record time, less than two months after its 2024 championship.
