A Democratic Mississippi state senator introduced legislation this week that makes it unlawful for men to masturbate "without the intent to fertilize an embryo," with the lawmaker criticizing anti-abortion measures that only "focus on the woman’s role.

The bill introduced would impose fines of up to $10,000 on men who engage in unprotected sex without the goal of pregnancy.

The bill would ban unprotected sex without the intent of procreation. Sponsoring Sen. Bradford Blackmon, D-Canton, hopes to make a point.
