Heidi Klum is departing the show, with former judge Mel B returning to take Klum’s place alongside fellow judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara and host Terry Crews. Mel B previously was a judge on the NBC series from 2013-18 and on spinoff AGT: Fantasy League in 2024.

Mel B will return to judge 'America's Got Talent' Season 20, replacing Heidi Klum. The NBC competition series comes back in May.

Heidi Klum, who has been on AGT for 11 of the past 12 seasons, is leaving. Her seat will be taken by Mel B as the series sets Season 20 premiere date.
