An avowed neo-Nazi has been convicted of plotting an attack on energy infrastructure with the goal of "lay [ing] waste to the city of Baltimore."

Neo-Nazi Brandon Russell is convicted of plotting to blow up Baltimore’s power grid as part of plan to sew chaos in the city. His co-defendant, Sarah Beth Clendaniel, earlier pleaded guilty in the case.

BALTIMORE -- Brandon Russell, the leader of a neo-Nazi group, was found guilty of conspiring to attack Maryland's power grid in a terrorist plot, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.
