The Golden Buckeye program has been helping older Ohioans and other eligible adults make community connections for more than four decades. Nearly 2.5 million Ohioans are eligible for the Golden Buckeye card, including all Ohioans age 60 or older, as well as adults age 18-59 who have disabilities as defined by Social Security. The program empowers older Ohioans to become active, loyal customers who seek value and reward quality. It also supports locally owned and operated small businesses, which are vital to the character of each community. The Golden Buckeye program is a service of the Ohio Department of Aging.
