Not sure... we renewed our vows and then rented a ScootCoupe to get around easier (Which is very fun!! Just don’t hit a chicken or rooster! They’re protected in the Keys). We couldn’t stand the seaweed smell at the beach so, we didn’t stay any extra time there. But, if you do a search, which is how I got the following info...Fort Zach rents them, as well as Higgs (Tropical Watersports) and Smathers (Sunset Watersports). :)

It was there when we visited in March of 2019. But it pooled in a certain spot against a peninsula where there is an entrance, restrooms and chair & umbrella rental. We moved just slightly away from there and had no problem enjoying the beach. There is a long strand of beach. Unless the water is completely disturbed, you should have no problem getting away from it and enjoying the water.
