I bought tickets online for a Sunday but it did not give me an option to choose an entrance time. Other posts I've seen have mentioned tickets with a scheduled arrival time. How do I know what time I can arrive?

If it's the museum only I would recommend spending 1-2 hours. There is a huge variety of interactive art installations. It's hard to resist it. Additionally, add another hour or two if you are going to the top floor to see the view of Tokyo. FYI, the entrance to the terrace is an additional 500yen ticket, which is not included in the price of the ticket to the museum.
