A very poignant memorial located close to the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin city. A place to visit and reflect the atrocities inflicted by the nazis. Fully open to the public allowing you to walk free…Full review by jonl3077

Unfortunately, our visit was met with disappointment, as it was locked down due to a violent knife attack the day before. We could not walk through it.Full review by Alien W

Well done showing of a dark past. We were in february, and it was not too easy to walk through the stones on the icy surface. But it was worth the feeling.Full review by Beagamax

It is a good question. I definitely agree that the audio guide would not be appropriate. Personally, I found this museum to be very moving, but I don’t recall there to be many graphic pictures of dead bodies etc. I would focus less on the enormity of the tragedy and instead look at the individual stories of those who perished. There is one room which details letters sent by those who later died and that would be something a 12 year old would be able to comprehend. To conclude, I would only take a mature 12 year old child here.
