I enjoyed the El Cid Castilla on the beach. Good pools and food. They allow you to use the El Cid Moro and Grenada beside and across the street so you get a variety for the one day pass.

We are debating between all inclusive Pueblo Bonito either in the golden zone or the other location at Emerald Bay in Nuevo Mazatlán. Any advice you can give would be appreciated.

My preference would be golden zone. If I wanted to only stay @ resort & go to town a couple times, then emerald bay. Have fun!
We are there for the day, off a cruise boat. wondering if we got transport to the golden zone could we enjoy the beach or is that all private access? Do you know a resort who allows day access? We have kids but also looking to explore

You can enjoy the beach as it is for every bodies enjoyment wether you and your family live there or not. The golden zone is on the Sabalo Cerritos or the green bus line Sabalo Centro.
I'm flying to Mazatlan with my 20M old in January 2019. Are there stores in the Golden Zone that we can purchase Diapers and other baby essentials at a reasonable price? TIA

OXXO is a typical 711 type store, they have everything you might need, and also some of the larger farmacia's. Just take a pulmonia to the grocery store...or Walmart. It's very safe.
