We took advantage of a seasonably warm day to enjoy this park. Great views of the city and information about Civil War sites and preservation of the park. They have a great shelter house also.Full review by karendP2731KH

Great place for a picnic and a wonderful vantage point from which to view the Capitol Building. Most civil war action occurred on large battlefields but the Boone Fort and Fort Hill skirmish too…Full review by WarehouseDweller
